    Noninvasive, Incisionless Treatment

We are the first and only health care system in Florida offering histotripsy, a new, FDA-approved, noninvasive procedure to treat liver cancer. Histotripsy uses high-intensity sound waves to destroy tumors in the liver. This procedure is noninvasive, meaning it doesn't require incisions, needles or anything inserted in the skin. If you’re a candidate for this treatment, it can lead to a faster recovery with less pain and no scarring.

    Surgery

Our fellowship-trained surgeons place a strong emphasis on treating tumors, both benign and malignant, with minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic-assisted techniques to optimize each patient's recovery. If you have had or require an enterostomy or similar surgical operation — such as an ileostomy, colostomy or urostomy — our dedicated team will offer you specialized, ongoing care.

    Radiation

Using sophisticated radiation technology, we can target tumors with amazing precision, reducing pain and leaving healthy tissue untouched. Radiation therapy targets specific areas of the body, shrinking tumors and eliminating cancer cells by damaging their DNA.

    Systemic Therapy

To treat gastrointestinal cancers, we use chemotherapy that can destroy or slow the growth of cancer cells. We also offer more targeted therapies, such as individual tumor molecular profiling, to guide personalized treatment. Through dedicated molecular tumor board conferences, our team is able to plan treatments based on tumor genomics.
