Joseph Assini, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon experienced in hip replacement, knee replacement, complex joint reconstruction and general orthopedic trauma.
He's a developer of the AnteriorPATH technique for total hip arthroplasty, a novel procedure to enhance the recovery of patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty. He's also Colorado’s highest-volume user of the Medial Pivot Total Knee Arthroplasty, a unique implant specifically designed to replicate the kinematics of the knee. He received his medical degree from the University of Sydney in Australia.
