Dr. King is a fellowship-trained, board-certified sports medicine physician specializing in orthopedic and sports-related care for concussions and shoulder, hip and knee conditions. He focuses on non-operative solutions like lifestyle modifications, rehabilitation, injections, biologic treatments and injury prevention.
After obtaining his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. King completed a family medicine residency at Community Health Network and a sports medicine fellowship at Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC).
Dr. King has served as a team physician for multiple colleges and provided physician coverage for sporting events and NCAA tournaments. He has served on NCAA and health network advisory committees, been involved in community outreach programs and presented at multiple national conferences.
