Delivering the Personalized Care You Deserve
The Lung Cancer Program at AdventHealth Gordon, formerly Gordon Hospital, is committed to preventing, diagnosing and treating lung cancer.
Preventive screenings are especially important if you meet the following criteria, as the survival rate for lung cancer improves dramatically when the disease is caught in its earliest stages. You qualify for a lung cancer screening if you:
- Are a smoker or have quit smoking within the last 15 years
- Are age 55 or older
- Have smoked one pack of cigarettes per day for at least 30 years or two packs per day for at least 15 years
Our Lung Cancer Screening Program is designed to catch cancer in its earliest stages, giving at-risk patients the best possible chance for a full recovery. Request a screening to receive a consultation with a physician, a low-dose chest CT scan to look for signs of lung cancer and a personalized, comprehensive lung health plan.
If you’ve been diagnosed with lung cancer, our team of renowned oncologists offers some of the most advanced therapies available, including surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. After treatment, our team continues to provide the counseling, nutritional guidance, mentoring and support you need to live life to the fullest.

Molecular Testing
Molecular tumor testing is key to understanding the changes that are present in your lung tumor, which can help your cancer care team decide which treatments are most likely to work for you.

At AdventHealth Gordon, we use various forms of radiation, which is a highly sophisticated therapy that uses imaging techniques to deliver a radiation dose to tumors.
Targeted Therapy
Our doctors create a personalized treatment plan for you. As a result, we provide several types of targeted therapies, including hormone therapy and immunotherapy, that more precisely identify and attack cancer cells.
