Cardiac Care to Help You Thrive
Your heart and its network of blood vessels work hard to help you live life on your terms. So, we're here to take the best care of your heart and vascular health — from proactive preventive care to critical emergency response.
Our Kansas network provides expert heart care close to your neighborhood in Northeast Kansas. If you should need surgery, we use leading-edge diagnostic and surgical technology to perform minimally invasive procedures that help you heal faster and more comfortably. And our approach is a little different, because treating your body, mind and spirit is part of AdventHealth’s whole-health approach to care.
Your Treatment Is Our Specialty
Our complete heart care includes specialized programs focused on some of the most common and critical cardiovascular needs.
Advanced Imaging and Preventive Care
Our extensive network of care gives you access to a wide range of cardiovascular tests and comprehensive screenings, including:
- Cardiac CTA
- Cardiac MRI
- Echocardiography
- Stress testing
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Vascular testing
Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Whether you come to us for pulmonary or cardiac rehabilitation, we’re here to help make your recovery process smooth and successful through personalized treatment. Our cardiac-specific program is designed to improve heart, vascular and lung health and reduce the risk of future events by stabilizing, slowing or even reversing the progression of cardiovascular disease.
Complex PCI
Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is a minimally invasive procedure using high-touch and leading technology to provide treatment for chronic total occlusions and complex coronary lesions.
Electrophysiology and Radiofrequency Ablation
When various heart conditions like atrial fibrillation (AFib) aren’t treatable with medical therapy, ablation is a nonsurgical, wire-based procedure that uses energy to eliminate the cardiac tissue that’s triggering your symptoms. Our Heart Rhythm Center treats disorders like AFib with the most effective and least invasive techniques to help your heart continue to beat strongly.
Heart Failure and CardioMEMS Program
We know a heart failure diagnosis comes with a lot of emotions, but we’re here to ensure your journey to better health is as positive and successful as possible. We help manage and minimize the effects of heart failure, using innovative technology like the CardioMEMS monitoring system to measure blood pressure and heart rate for more accurate readings. Our goal is to help you live life to the fullest.
Open-Heart and Cardiothoracic Surgery
From complex procedures to the latest minimally invasive techniques, we put our hearts into healing yours. Our team of skilled physicians performs valve repairs, replacements, coronary bypass, lung resections and other lifesaving procedures to help you get back to the life you love.
Structural Heart Procedures
You want the best possible care for your heart, and our goal is to deliver that to you. Our heart experts perform many structural heart procedures using a minimally invasive approach, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and patent foramen ovale/atrial septal defect (PFO/ASD) closures, to help you feel like yourself again.

You can rest assured that our cardiac specialists are here to provide the expert care you need for any heart condition. The cardiac conditions we treat include:

Comprehensive Risk Assessments for Cardiac Issues
Cardiovascular wellness depends on many factors — some of which are outside of your control, like age, gender and family history. However, a few small changes can have an immediate and positive impact on your heart health. That’s why we offer a free, online heart risk assessment to identify where and how you can make these adjustments. Our goal is to raise your awareness and reduce your risk of a heart attack and many other cardiovascular conditions.
