    Women’s Intensive Outpatient Services

Our intensive outpatient programs provide day treatment and support for women ages 18 and older who are dealing with anxiety, panic, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, trauma, grief and loss. Each program day is centered on group therapy with a focus on DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) skills. DBT is a therapy designed to help people change patterns of behavior that are not effective. CBT skills are directed toward solving current problems and modifying dysfunctional (inaccurate and/or unhelpful) thinking and behavior.

We also offer educational classes, psychiatric evaluations, medication management and individual and family counseling as needed. Each person develops their own personal strategy for coping with problems and stress, improving their quality of life and promoting wellness.

Group participants continue to live at home while attending our program. They are required to attend scheduled groups consistently and actively participate. Attendance is three days per week, three hours per day for approximately six weeks. We encourage strong consideration of this time commitment. Participants will meet with a licensed psychiatric provider weekly (during group hours) for psychotherapy and medication management.
