AdventHealth Hendersonville offers complete knee replacement care, with the goal of reducing your pain, scarring and recovery time compared to traditional joint replacement surgery. In addition to traditional arthroscopic surgery, minimally invasive total knee replacement and partial knee resurfacing, we offer the NAVIO™ Surgical System robotic-assisted surgery. A 3D model of your knee is used to pre-plan and assist your surgeon in performing this surgery.

The NAVIO™ Surgical System offers patients two important benefits, including:

  • A handheld surgical smart tool with an intuitive computer system that allows your surgery to be individualized with a plan specific to the unique shape and motion of your knee.
  • Robotic assistance during the procedure, resulting in better accuracy and long-term outcomes including function, motion and durability.

Jason E. Lang, MD
Co-Managing Physician, Orthopedic Program
Hip and Knee Joint Replacement

A board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Lang is a co-managing physician for AdventHealth Hendersonville’s Orthopedic Program and specializes in hip and knee joint replacement. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from Johns Hopkins University and his Doctor of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Lang is a fellow member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, as well as a member of the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction and North Carolina Orthopaedic Association.
